Lockheed Releases 2017.1/A DoD & NASA SBIR/STTR Topics of Interest

ReliAscent would like to remind all small business contractors and grantees considering a proposal submission on the DoD's 2017.1/A SBIR/STTR Solicitation, or NASA's 2017 SBIR/STTR Solicitation, that both agencies have released their topics, and will begin accepting submissions soon. So now is a GREAT time to start looking for letters of support, and to start talking with experts in the industry...

As a follow-up from some of our previous SBIR emails and blogs:

*We encourage all SBIR/STTR contractors and grantees to review their current IP Protection Strategy (assuming you have one in place).  If you are not confident that your strategy is proven/will safeguard your intellectual property in a proposal, please contact our partners, Martensen IP.

**We also want to remind DoD SBIR contractors that your friends at the Boeing and Lockheed Martin Supplier Diversity Offices make their respective "SBIR Topic of Interest Spreadsheets" available to contractors (typically, just 1-2 weeks after each Solicitation's Topic Pre-Release). These are great tools to gain insights from, possible partnership agreements with, and even letters of interest from, these important primes.

While time is winding down to make use of this important resource for the current Solicitation, we highly recommend you contact both Boeing and Lockheed Martin, so your company is put on the SBIR TOI  Spreadsheet Distribution List for the next round (contact information below):

Boeing:

Lockheed Martin:

Good luck with your proposals, and as always, should you need help with a Preaward/SF1408 Audit, Systems Audit, or any other DCAA audit, compliant accounting or compliance issues, please do not hesitate to call our experts!

At ReliAscent, the success of our clients and all small business contractors and grantees is our top priority!
