Brian has been a Corporate Executive for for over 22 years as a consulting firm specializing in SBIR/STTR and all types of Government Contracting. In addition, during this time, Brian has grown two other Small Businesses using SBIR funds, into viable commercial business concerns. Prior to that, Brian spent 15 years working as a Program/Contract Manager, managing various fast-paced research and development programs. He was responsible for marketing development contracts, proposing and managing follow-on production, generating computer-based schedules, and managing contract performance and deliverables to budget. He performed as a contract manager on numerous multi-million-dollar cost-reimbursable and fixed-price contracts with the U.S. government, as well as domestic and foreign companies. This involved negotiating and administering contracts, including interpreting and applying Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Uniform Commercial Code. He was responsible for division planning and forecasting, budgeting of complex engineering and manufacturing projects, cost-accounting, time-keeping and payroll. Brian has a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance. In addition, Brian is an NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager.
