DoD SBIR/STTR 2019.2/B Closes Monday, July 1st

The Department of Defense's SBIR/STTR 19.2/B BAA's are Closing on Monday, July 1st, at 8 PM ET

Contractors planning on submitting their Phase I proposals for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) 19.2 and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) 19.B Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), must do so by 8 PM ET Monday, via the Department of Defense (DOD) SBIR/STTR proposal submission website.

Proposal Submission

Proposals must be submitted via the DOD SBIR/STTR submission website at https://sbir.defensebusiness.org following the DOD instructions contained in the Announcement, as well as the instructions specific to the Service or Component to which you are applying. Submissions must include Volume 1: Proposal Cover Sheet, Volume 2: Technical Volume, Volume 3: Cost Volume, and Volume 4: Company Commercialization Report to be considered a complete proposal. Small businesses may modify their proposals at any time until the Announcement closes on July 1, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. ET through the SBIR/STTR submission website. The website is best viewed in all modern, secure browsers such as Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and IE10+. If your company has any Phase II awards, any resulting Company Commercialization data must be reported and up to date.

Contractors are asked to plan ahead when creating a proposal and submit early in order to avoid any unforeseen complications (as the website is often slow and can be prone to issues or crashes in the final hours or minutes on the due date).

Good luck to all of you submitting proposals, and remember: if you do not have a DCAA compliant accounting system required for a Ph II award (or cost type contracts awarded by NASA, the DoD, DHS, DoE and other agencies), or are not sure if your current system is fully compliant, please feel free to contact the experts at ReliAscent! We offer free Accounting System DCAA Compliance Reviews to all small business government contractors and grantees.
